Faith Zimmerman, V.P. Escrow Operations

How long have you been in the title business?
I began my career in the title industry in June 1976 as a policy typist for Gracy Title Company, progressed to Manager of the Post-Closing department, then to escrow assistant, then back to receptionist with Lawyers Title and Abstract (after maternity leave), then to escrow officer with LTAC, then promoted to Branch Manager, and the rest is history.   I have worked for many of the title companies/underwriters and have become familiar with their systems and underwriting guidelines & policies, which has led to much of my success in the industry.

Attended Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas

What is your hometown?
Uvalde, Texas

What is your favorite thing about Austin?
Austin has its own unique energy.   I really enjoy all that it offers, from the lakes and hills and many state parks within short driving distance, to the live music scene, to the eclectic downtown area.

Tell us about your family…
Birthed 4 and raised 5 children (blended family).   My children have been instrumental in my success in the title industry.   For over 31 years, they have been supportive of the time and efforts that it takes to be a successful escrow officer and company manager.   The youngest two daughters have actually worked in the title industry during their summers, and have truly come to appreciate being successful in a career that has no training other than OTJ.
